Pretty standard fishing going on for this time of year...steady fishing with some anarchy mixed in...

Saturday we left the dock around 7am due to a clients unfortunate encounter with a nail gun the day prior...pulled 18 fish in 2.5 hours for our 3 clients and ran back in with a green passenger...he hung on as long as he needed...one fish was blown up like a balloon full of old eggs when filleted...(see pic)

Sunday yanked 24 fish nw of the harbor on Saturdays location...little slower pick but we got the job done...

Today (monday) we hooked well over 30 fish for 24 fish limit for our clients...good fishing just kept coming unglued...

We are into the wire and crank program and probably will be so the remainder of the season...dipsys only grabbing a few fish a day right now... Fish Fish Stockfish Seafood Forage fish

Nice report Jeff! Was a great weekend for sure. Sunday we lost over 10 fish also. Some were definitely due to buffoonery (in-the-net-outta-the-net, hit a rod tip with the net, etc.). Had early luck Sunday then it was slow between 1000-1115. But, when I came to a NW heading, the fecal matter hit the oscillating device...fish hit dang near every rod and we ticketed out in less than 30 minutes. Told George to come to a NW heading and he immediately had 5 boards go back...limited quick. I have not seen such a dramatic result with just a 30 degree heading change...from dead to chaos in a minute.

Fish are still just scattered all over the water column in 68-75ft...

Efforts focused from 30-50ft seem to be the best methods

Great report Jeff,How far back do you run your wire?Do you have different length setups or do you stick with one setup. How deep you think that setup is running?thanks again for the report.:)

Kaboom Shiners in black and silver and gold patterns worked the best...they didn't seem to want anything too colorful in plugs...
