I've never tried to fishing in cold weather before. I've been twice in the past couple of days with no luck. Anybody have any tips? I mostly fish ponds. Occasionally, I'll hit O'Shay or Alum, but I'm stuck on the shore.

try Indian lake, either moundwood or lakeside, the colder the better for saugeye

  3. you should slow down your retrive i also like tipping a jig with a minnow or crawler:B :)

  4. Depending on the body of water, the fish may be closer to shore and alot shallower than you'd think. They're hungry; if you're fishing for crappie or bluegill, I'd try fishing for them pretty much like you would in the spring.
