i usually dont fish this early for catfish but i do know a few ponds with great numbers of cats in them any hints on how to go after cold water cats would be greatly appreciated

any tips on baits i tried liver but they arent biting very good on that just a few nibbles , would bass minnows work good this wime of year im not after lunkers just some good eatin size

i wish i could help you out, i was out last night with my dad for around 2 1/2 hours and we used shad and shrimp and had NO bites !!!! id guess with the cold front that the cats have moved back to deeper water and definitely became LESS ACTIVE !!!

i use shad and chubs during summer months and do great on them i didnt think they would be biting this early on em though ill give it a try when it warms up again or maybe ill stay home and watch catfishing on tv till it hits 70 degree's outside...........nah i love my catfishing to much to stay at home:B
