Clearfork update

  1. Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyone could give me an update on the fork? I would like to make a trip down there this weekend for some trout. Any advise would be helpful. WHat they are feeding on this time of year, some of there hangouts, things like that. Thank you
  2. Steelie,
The beadhead "lightening bug" is good (12-14), & I have also caught them on black ants with a "red butt" (size 12). Make sure you have lots of nymphs. Have also had them rising to small adams & klinkhammers in 14-18...actually, when they have been rising, just about any small dry has been working. We like the area around the covered bridge.
We are also planning on a trip down Saturday. Look for old man with a gray beard & a young (13 yr old) boy. Be driving a blue Jeep with V'Nam vet plates. Hope to see you there!
