Clear Fork Res

Discussion in 'Central Ohio Fishing Reports' started by duckhound, Apr 18, 2004.

  1. Went to Clear Fork Res. Saturday afternoon. Not a single Musky was reported caught. Crappie were were the only fish caught as reported at the ramp by Theresa, the on-duty officer. (By the way, if you go to Clear Fork, be ready to to have your boat inspected.)
I did catch (what I consider) a huge White Bass at 16 inches long while trolling near the bottom in 17ft of water.
Theresa did mention that the ODNR has their Musky nets out, so if you are savy about how to catch a Musky during the spawn (I'm not), it must be the right time to do it.
Water temps at the surface was 56 in the upper end and 53 down by the dam.
