Last trip of the year yesterday, fished straight out of the river from 10 to 13.5 miles out with that big south breeze. Huge Walleyes out there, most were in the 24 to 26" range. Dipseys 0/125, 1-1/2/150 and 3/170. Bigger spoons worked better then small stingers. Fish were really aggressive on the hits and the fights.

Good deal. Seen the Cleveland bouy reporting 3 footers and decided to stay home. Looks like the weather is going to get considerably cooler by weeks end. More than likely I have made my last trip also unless we get a nice weekend with no wind.

2 days ago I went out of Wildwood and cruised around hoping to see some marks, got to 40fow and found a decent amount of marks, we set up to troll with mostly cranks off boards with one dipsey/spoon combo, the only rod that caught was the dipsey/spoon- too bad both fish were maybe 6" ! LOL Still fun out there, I always like fishing within sight of the CLE sky line. We just didn't feel like going out far.
