The first concert I ever went to was to see these cats. I've loved Steppenwolf ever since. That was late 60's/early 70's.

I Like Eric Clapton. Check out the second video. Pretty cool seeing two greats on the stage at the same time.

Been a Jeff Beck fan since Blow by Blow. He opened for Santana, @ Riverbend, in the ‘90’s & TORE IT UP, w/new material. Santana played his old stuff, which I’d always liked, but I thought paled in comparison.

Beck played Taft Theatre, Cincinnati, in ‘99, I think, supporting a new album. I was out in the truck when it was announced, so called The Bride @ her desk & commanded her to drop whatever she was doing & get tickets!

Taft is about 2500 seats, so I was surprised that the crowd was only about 3/4 capacity. Mentioned it the next day to a local rock drummer that I know & he laughed @ me.

”You were probably the only non-player there. That crowd was the who’s who of guitar players within driving distance.”
