Chillicothe

Discussion in 'Southeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Walter Adkins, Mar 28, 2005.

  1. I was wondering for all that fish around chillicothe if there are any streams wadeable that have fish in them. My brother lives down there and I thought about taking him out for a little while. All I need is the name of the stream and I will do the rest, do not need exact loctions. Thanks

walt,i know that alot of guys fish paint creek which is west of chillicothe on rt. 50.i'm not sure how easy it is to wade fish but they do pretty good at the spillway.
also, you could check out deercreek.it crosses rt 104 north of chillicothe.
the creeks around here are really up now.we've had ALOT of rain in the last few days.
ross lake is just east of chillicothe.i haven't fished there in a long time so i'm not real sure what it'd be like.
where ever you end up at i hope you guys do well.

paint, deer, and salt creeks, but it will be awhile before any of them are fishable.

  4. I vote for Deer Creek
