Is anyone in the Central Ohio area aware of any place that will process chickens. We have 25 that will be needing butcherd in about 3-4 weeks.
I can do it myself but would like to find a place just in case.

    Maybe Perfect's Meats in Johnstown?

I know Thurns on Greenlawn can process deer, but I doubt they'd do chicken.

You can call this place to check and see if they will do it for you...

    Or, this place:
    Case Farms Of Ohio, Inc.
    1818 Cty. Rd. 160 · Winesburg · OH · 44690 · 330-359-7141
    Products: Poultry processing & packing

Seems I remember seeing some Amish advertising butchering services.
If you know of any nearby it might be worth it to stop in and ask.
  6. Call your local grocery store's meat department. It has been years ago, but my buddy made a deal with the butcher at the local grocery store to do 100 chickens once. I know regulations have changed since (early 90's) - this same grocery store had to build a seperate unattached locker to continue to butcher deer. Had to hang and skin them outside the store or something like that?

Well perfects won't process chickens, I will call fast freeze in Circleville.
SG I will see about some local Amish places. When I was a kid you could get them done just about anywhere.
