i have a few chatter trick sticks and last year we trolled erie and we had success with them during the night bite. i couldnt have been more disappointed with the casting of these things this morning. dont get me wrong, when i was able to retrive it the way it is designed to be, it ran great. what really set me off was the snap on the blade kept getting tangled with the front trebel hook when id cast and it wouldnt run right. i finally had to bend shut the hooks on the front trebel. i tried to remove it, but then it became to light and wouldnt dive. so bending was my only option. worked great after that. on the dvd that came with the kit it said to tie directly to the snap on the blade, thats what i did. has anyone else had this problem? i do like this bait because i think its one to be fished slow with lots of action. i bet its going to be very good on those early calm summer days. so, is it me or do others have this problem too?
