  1. Went to CC today for the first time. Man what a pretty lake. Trolled for musky for about 4 hours, but got no interest. Electronics showed what appeared to be a thermocline at about 22 feet. Is this normal for this lake? Tried to keep all baits at 12-15 feet, as that is where most of the marks were. Can anyone tell me any preffered baits/methods for this lake. as I definately will be back. Looks like a great lake to cast with all the standing timber and laydowns but I'm thinking its a little late in the season for that. Any help is very much appreciated.
  2. I have tried fishing there many times this year and have only hit a couple pathetic bass. I haven't heard of anyone having much luck out there, except for the crappie guys that know the holes to hit. Even then, due to excessive baitfish, you're in for a challenge.
