Went out yesterday with the admiral about 10:00 am and fished til 5:00. All of my normal saugeye spots let me down. Finally tried along the shoreline across the lake from the Furnace Shore ramp. Found the saugeye at every little stretch of sand or gravel out in about 12' of water which is deeper than I usually find saugeye. The admiral ended up with 3 keepers and a couple of shorts. I got all of 3 shorts. All the fish came on a crawler harness with a silver blade cast out and allowed to sink to the bottom and then slowly reeled back. Not even bite on jigs.
