  1. I was thinking of hitting a new lake that i found. there are some really nice cats in it and i would like to fish it today. but i dont know if it would be worth the trip, with all this cold weather and rain we got. any tips? :D

some of the best catfishing I have ever encountered was during a downpour. I mean like non stop action for 17-24" fish for two hours.

as far as now... I dunno, but it is always worth a shot. report back with results!

  3. Staying at home guarantees a no fish day
Going to lake gives one an oppurtunity to catch something.
    Easy choice for me.
  4. I went last night didnt have a hit for an hour so i walk away for 5 minutes. As im walking back i hear a clank. I start to run, tyhinking i had a fish on. I getr there just to realise that one of my rods is missing. I look in the water just to see it in a foot of water and being dragged further out so i jump in and set the hook the fish stays on for 10 seconds and then it get off. Then a little later I get another cat, put up one heck of a fight. It turned out to be a 29 inch channel. It was a fun night. :D
