Yeah your allowed to fish there. It's just a little up past the Columbus Zoo on the Scioto River off riverside dr. A lot of pull offs going towards Delaware u can park at. I don't fish for Carp, but I thought it was funny...

Pretty sure you still can. I went up there last year with my kids and they were still doing it.you had to buy ''fish food'' for a quarter from a dispenser. Looked like little pellets.

As a person who job shadowed at the Akron Zoo for week, and did volunteer work for a wildlife rescue center in NE Ohio, I can tell you those pellets were probably puppy chow. Turns out just about everything in nature will eat scrambled eggs and puppy chow (though for some animals the puppy chow has to be soft).
