So I have recently decided to try and target carp on the fly since I'm looking for some bigger fish to hook into to warm me up for Steelie season my problem is that the three areas I have checked out in the maumee and Ottawa river near toledo so far have netted not even a siting of one of these "golden bones" anyone near this area have any hints, or anyone with enough carp knowledge to tell me where to look! Also I'm partial towards river carp but lake\pond ones could work too.

That's a lot of ground to cover! Finding them in the shallows is the key but hard to do on ground. Maybe pay someone to fly you around the area may result in locating them quickly.
