Carp friendly rods that Travel well.

Discussion in 'Carp Discussions' started by Tornichio, May 3, 2004.

  1. With all of my scouting this year. Mostly along the scioto river I have decided that I am going to ride my mountain bike into some potential fishing areas. One thing that has become very obvious to me though is that I will need a rod that breaks down into more than 2 pieces. A traveling rod if you will. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was looking in a european carp mag this weekend and they showed some different rods that broke down but is there an equivalent in the united states. It does not have to be carp specific rod. I am open to any suggestions. The predators that Cabellas sells are 2 piece I think.

Thanks in advance for any information.

  4. thanks guys for sharing the information. I should have mentioned that I was looking for something a little less expensive. I don't have much money to spend right now. I was wondering if there was something that was comparable for another species that would be less expensive.

    thanks again
