I finally went to C.J. Brown for the first time that I have lived in Ohio. I must say that it seems to be a nice lake. Cool and cloudy conditions were good for the bite this morning. All in all my friend and I did well.

1 - Largemouth (blue/black jig with chunk trailer)
1 - Smallmouth (blue/black jig with chunk trailer)
15 - Crappie (fly-fishing with bead head caddis pupae)
6 - Bluegill (worms and fly-fishing with bead head caddis pupae)
4 - Catfish (worms and liver)

Hope someone else has good stuff to report...

  2. How was the water? I am thinking about taking my son there in the morning. It will be my first time as well.

    Thanks,

    Jake

Water clarity was very good. Not quite sure what the water temperature was.
