1 1/2 c peanut butter 1/2 c margarine 1 tsp vanilla 1 16-oz pkg powdered sugar 1 6-oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 tbsp solid shortening Mix first 4 ingredients by hand to made a smooth odugh. (Dough will be stiff). Shape dough into small balls; place on waxed paper. Place in refrigerator. In top of double boiler, melt chocolate pieces and shortening. When smooth, put mixture in bowl. Use a toothpick to dip each ball halfway in chocolate. Store in plastic bag in refrigerator or freezer. My wife and daughter made 10 dozen of them. They used Baker's sweet chocolat bars insted of the 1 6-oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips and the doble boiler. To melt the Baker's chocolat they used the microwave and skipped the 2 tbsp of shortening. Saved a bunch of time. Sure do love them Buckeyes.
