  1. Fished just from 430 until 630 both nights and did very well. Caught fish in 8 to 10 feet of water. Fish where in the 13-18 inch range. A flasher is a very good tool to have as all my fish didn't hit until I had the jig 3 to 4 feet off the bottom. Heavy jigging is the way to go I havd 5 tipups out both night and caught nothin. I didn't see any tipups catch fish. Ice is in great shape.

  2. I haven't been able to coax the lookers into biting once they come off bottom...Funny thing is that they'll hit the lure after an agressive jigging action as long as it returns to a few inches from bottom.

    Ditto on the non-existent tip-up bite!
