Bryants Creek

Discussion in 'Ohio River Fishing Reports' started by Midniter, Jul 19, 2004.

  1. Will be fishing a bass tournament in a couple of weeks at Bryants. Have never fished this part of the Ohio River. Can anyone offer any suggestions to what type of lure/color works best here? Thanks in advance.

  2. I have a place on Bryant's creek and have won a couple of small tournies in this area. What tourney are you fishing and is out of Bryant's creek ramp? You have two Indiana creeks by Bryants and Turtle Creek marina,a small bay close to Beltera. The Kentucky side has Craigscreek( close to the dam) Paint Lick (couple miles up river) Sugar Creek and Big Bone if you want to run 8 miles or so. Some smaller creeks but their very shallow and hot this time of the year. I would start with a buzz bait for the first hour then alternate from a white or yellow small spinner bait and pitch your favorite plastic. Saw two bass caught right off the Bryanta ramp a couple of weeks ago in the Dixie tourney. Fishing this time of year is real tough just keep fishing hard.
