Son and I fished Brookville last Sunday (4th) in the morning. One small largemouth was the only thing between us and a skunk. Our only other notable catch was a very small diameter rope my son snagged and pulled in. On one section of the 15' rope we found what we think were zebra mussels, about 8 of the little critters. Assuming a correct ID, are zebra mussels common to Brookville? Any cause for alarm?

skeeter150zx..........If nothing more than old news, no reason for me to get worked up over it. My first time to witness them. We took a photo but it's blurry. I may check out the rope, see if they are still connected, take a better picture and post it.

I used to fish tournaments over there all the time. Just about anything like a log or a rope would have them on it. Sometimes when cleaning the bottom of the boat you would get them as well. They are nothing new over there.
