brookville, Sat., oct. 18, crappies

  1. went to brookville for crappies at 10:30-2:30. Water temp. was 65-67 degrees, stiff North wind, fishing the campground area trees in Templeton Creek, using minnows and floaters. Caught around 18 crappie most were 9" and above. The depth ranged from about 8-15 feet in around 20 feet of water.
     
  2. Thanks, going to give crappie a try on Friday.

    Been doing real well with bass accross from Fairfield marina on the west side point and also along the beach by the rocks and working my way south along that bank for about 300 yards always seem to catch two keepers on that stretch.
