To those facing the conundrum of redoing your current boat seats or buying brand new, I'll share my recent experience. I recently upgraded my boat size, and the new boat had torn and badly worn bass seats. Buying new ones are anywhere from 60 to 120, and none used the quality materials of my old seats, either thin vinyl, or flimsy steel hinges. My old seats had real thick aluminum hinges that didn't flex, bend, or chance of corroding. Dorsey's upholstery is a little dad and son business off northfield road in bedford, so I gave them a shot, and I couldn't be happier. For 100 bucks a seat I got 30oz vinyl installed (new seats max I could find was 20 oz) foam repaired and they look fabulous. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up their boat.
