boat decking?

  1. is there a difference between treated plywood and marine grade plywood if so where do i get the marine grade plywood in central ohio

  2. The biggest difference is multi-dollars for marine grade plywood. Most people subsitute treated plywood for decking.

    Check Linworth Lumber in Columbus. Myself I would go with treated. Let it dry good then seal it with spar varnish. It will last as long or longer than Marine will.
     
  4. marine plywood is rine plywood with water proof glue, treated plywood is treated the same way exterior lumber is.

    3/4 4x8 treated is $31.79 right now and marine is in the $70-80 range per sheet
