Any recommendations on a custom boat cover shop in the Lorain area? I'd like to use someone local if possible. Time for a new one.

If you dont need it done right now I would go to the amish and have it done. Its way cheaper and in my opinion much better quality. Only problem is they are booked way in advance. I am stikl on the waiting list from april of this year. I will post the phone number in another post

If anyone is willing to run to the Ashland area there's an Amish shop in Polk/Rowsburg (Rt250 just east of Fin Feather Fur Outfitters) that does a GREAT job. I've had him do numerous repairs and new covers for our various pontoons and boats along with dumptruck tarps etc.

VERY reasonable and pretty quick turnaround.

1252 Twp Hwy 353, Polk, Oh (you can mapquest/bing it)

Obviously real-Amish.... no phone.... also no Sunday business.

Best time to catch him is evenings.

If you want to contact me I can run over and verify a time/date for you (he's only 10 minutes from our house) so you don't run the risk of missing him.
