Blue Rock Rd. Bridge….strip pit?

Discussion in 'Southwest Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Rooster, Aug 12, 2004.

  1. I noticed a very nice looking strip pit near the GMR. It has a lot of standing timber, and reminds me of AEP! Anyone know if it is possible to fish this pond?

Is what I would use to describe it. Never seen anyone fishing it, but given the inability to park next to it due to the guardrails and looking at a bad angle over the hill from the road, that isn't saying much. This is the one next to eggleston ballpark, right? Right next to the new bridge?

  3. Thanks for the reply. The pond looked deeper (judging by the standing timber), and I thought that I saw a fish jump as I was passing over the bridge.

I have always wondered if it held fish, but it just appeared too shallow and murky. but I can't say for sure. biggest problem might be finding a close place to park.
