Launched out of hotwaters 630 and trolled shallow to the west, south end of sand bar and several hours around the weather buoy. Few boats were in shallow, inspite of decent , marks in several areas. Some marks in sandbar area, but a large school of walleye were definitely found near the bouy, mostly toward the bottom. Seaturd and I were skunked after many hours of dragging worm harnesses and a multitude of depths with 2 and 3 ounce weights. We also had reef runners out as well. Nice quiet day on lake with little chop and some gentle rollers with occasional clouds, but not a single walleye bite for us. At bouy saw two walleye netted among many boats. Boats full of casters also shared in the tough bite, perhaps the east wind made the eyes lazy. There were some boats catching small 8'-9' perch in front of breakwall about a 1/2 or mile north to east just a bit. We were too wore out to run in for minnows and returned at 230. Sure beats working in the office.
