Binocular blunder....:(

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Randall, Nov 22, 2004.

  1. My binoculars have moisture on the inside of the eye lens.....any suggestion on how to clear it up before I trash them?

  2. They'll probably eventually dry, but if it happened once, it'll happen again. What kind are they? If they weren't too much, it's probably just time to upgrade. ;)

  3. Dry them with a hairdryer. The problem is that they will get wet again if you can not find the leakage. M.Magnuss is wright you may want to just get a new pair.

They won't be any good for bad weather any more but will be worth keeping around for nice days. Just put them in a warm dry place until they dry out and they will be fine.

Check out the "Action" and "Monarch" lines of binocs from Nikon for your next all weather use.
