Best ramp for Rocky Fork

Discussion in 'Southwest Ohio Fishing Reports' started by bjmess, Jun 13, 2007.

  1. Fellas,
I may head out to Rocky Fork Lake for the first time. Was wondering where the best public ramp here is. Also any reports or suggestions for a first timer at this lake would help.
  2. If you need to pick up any bait or tackle...use the ramp on North Shore Drive. There are 2 bait stores within casting distance of the ramp. The water level is about 3' deep till after the jog in the docks. If you need deeper water, use the ramp that is at the east end of the lake between the dam and the sailboat marina. As far as the fishing...haven't been out there in a while. Good Luck!

  3. I prefer the East Side ramp. The lanes are in better shape, are longer and have a much better slope for launching. Additionally I like the parking area more.
  4. Any word on this lake? Fishing has been tough there for me lately.
