well i wish i had better news.....i didnt even get as much as one bite, by grandpa alteast got 2 strikes on chicken livers.....but it was a nice nite...got to see 4 shooting starts..the news paper says that wed night after midnight you should be able to see 50 shooting stars per hour
Seems like the spillway can be hit and miss at times. I fish it a lot through the winter for saugeye and have caught smallies and largemouth as well as a catfish every once in a while. Another good spot to try is to walk over the dam and fish along the rocks on the lake side. Sometimes you can get into a school of white bass along there as well as a few saugeye and bass. Thats pretty cool about the shooting stars, thanks for the tip about Wednesday I will try to stay up to see them.
