    Hey all,
got up at 5:30 am wed to hit a farm pond in Batavia for some bass fishing.
I got there at 6:15 and started with a buzz frog. cought two about 13'' & had three more swirl at it. Then I switched to a small spinner bait and caught 2 more small ones. after that I switched to a shakeyhead jig and caught 3 more small ones. Next I tried a new baby beaver from bass pro. this was the first time for the beaver & the shakey head. I caught 1 14"" on the beaver.
It was now starting to warm up. I made one more trip around the pond with a shallow crank. I had one hit on first cast. biggest one of day probably 2.5 to 3 pounds. lost before got in. caught two more dinks. got to hot. all and all good day for middle of aug.
    Bill:) :B :!
