Atwood 7/21

Discussion in 'Northeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Saildog, Jul 23, 2007.

  1. Hit Atwood for a couple of hours Saturday morning. Had the family along, so we just cruised around trolling for saugeyes and enjoying the weather. Managed one good one (19") right off the bat on the point outside the west marina and then nothing but a couple of white bass and a tail-hooked carp. S'eye came on a large shallow-model Husky Jerk trolled behind leadcore.

Not many fish, but a great morning on the water.

Thanks for the report saildog. Plan on going Tuesday evening hopefully will be on the water by 4:30. A tail hooked carp had to be a blast . How was boat traiffic ??

  3. Traffic was very light for a Saturday at Atwood. There were about ten boats fishing, maybe a hakf dozen tooners and a handful of sailboats. The cooler weather kept most folks away until we were headed back in.

Thought we had a good fish on until it I saw the orange fins coming at us backwards.
