Am I seeing things, or are these two rivers emptying out A LOT faster? They are getting down to fishable levels quick - even after heavy rains.

This time of year the rivers can drop significantly but they could still be dirty. We need some big flushes to push out the silt.

The water table in summer time conditions is 180 degree turn from what you see in fall-spring. The ground is drier, there are plants and trees to feed, the air temps are much higher so evaporation is much faster and our rivers depends on run off and rain to maintain their flows. Come winter time, it's the complete opposite and flows stay high and steady on the drop.

Was out today lot of silt in those rivers. Both were well stained.
