I'm heading down to VA to fish the Shenandoah for smallies next weekend. Not sure what to expect. I've heard its a great smallie fishery, we'll be fishing the North Fork ( I believe )

If anyones ever done any fishing there I'de like to hear about it.

Ak, I've actually been speaking with them and they have been pretty forthcoming with info about the river. I'm looking forward to next weekend, hopefully gonna get into some fish.

If nothing else it sure will be pretty down there this time of year.

  4. Do not know if anyone form there has given an idea about lures to use. Here are a few stand buys: 2" and 3" twister tail grubes. Tubes always work. There is a soft plastic called a "mad tom" that works real good, better than tubes. The mad tom looks like a small cat fish that the small mouth love to eat. Try a few roostertails.
Lets us know how you did.
