Any Knife Makers/Forgers Here?

I remember a few years back I remember some guys/gals here made their own knives. Wondering if any of them are still here?

Me and my dad do, mostly from horseshoes and farrier files and then make kydex or leather sheaths for them.

Hobby knife maker here.
Once I figure out how to post pics again I will.
Retiring at the end of this month and have the little shop ready to do more.

I’ve made quite a few but don’t make many anymore bc there just isn’t any money in it. A knife and sheath that I can sell for $550, usually has $200 in material without labor or the cost of professional heat treat/cryo. Are you looking strictly to purchase or are you interested in making something for yourself?

It is much work not many people want to pay for what you have in it when they can get a mass produced knife for $100. I’ve seen some pay too much for “handmade “ that were not heat treated just sharpened steel and polished. A seat for every ass they say
