Looking to head out of Huron Saturday. How's the Walleye bite out there? Looking for eaters not the Hawgs. Anything still hanging around or have they moved all east? Any info would be appreciated. Fish ON!:B
Caught 10 walleye west of Huron dump and 1 at Old Womans Creek yesterday on reef runners, 2 FO's. Also had had one big yellow perch that crushed a bare naked. No specific color worked better than rest. 6 colors out and all atleast caught one, half prism and other half bright colors. Speed 2.0 with most fish coming on speed ups or slow downs.
40/50/70 took the 10 and 12 back took the one at old womans. Bare naked, bare naked purple, bare naked barbie, cranberry crusher, eriedescent, and pink lemonade all caught fish, did take off a purple headed wonderbread that didnt catch anything but sheep. The fish that we caught at the 12 lead was a freight train, first time i have seen a fish move the board sideways and not just fall back or submerge. May have been because of the short lead but awesome to see and i didn't have to pick the tangle where it got our inside board. Before we could get out of the rod holder it was already inside.
