Fished asht for eyes this a.m.. Fishing was slow out in 65 to 70fow so we trolled for smallies and caught a few fish and heard good reports of perch at conny. 54 fow n.n.e. and pulled 90 in 1 1/2 hrs. Final weight was 46 lbs. Maybe 12 under 8 inches and another 12 were 13-14 with most around 10-11.
Perch are out in 57 feet of water, North Northeast
from the light house. 30 degree heading on your
compass. This is about 6 miles out and is after the
sand bar. This makes three years in a row they have
been out there. The action was very fast. Walleye are
being caught out there too but I have not fished for
any yet as the Perch are a blast. Mostly jumbos.
