I'm wanting to go to alum tonite and do some saugeye fishing, maybe trolling after dark. just wondering if anybodys been doing any good lately, haven,t heard too much

  2. Was there last evening good bite on jigs about hour before dark till dark then had to leave kept 6 17-19" ones. All were high or in 6-8 foot water on pints or the edges of the points were actively chasing bait as well as smallmouth. Was using chartruese tail on 1/8 th ounce jig. Some time letting jig hit water count couple seconds and steady reeling back at good pace others hit right on first lift after letting it sink to bottom. Good luck

tipping your jigs with minnows or just jig?

  4. Hit plain twisters but some came on 1/2" chunk of night crawler on jig do not need big piece just enough for flavor they hold onto it when they hit better

  5. Not sure on Alum but they are hitting white twisters along the shore of Hoover...saw some of good size caught over the last few days...even got a small one on the fly rod.

    5-6 FOW at best.

  6. That was meant to Say tip a piece of night crawler on jig with the twister tail as well. You can put just body with no tail on as well with crawler.
