Alum/Salt Fork? Ramps

Discussion in 'Central Ohio Fishing Reports' started by jshbuckeye, Dec 15, 2008.

  1. Thinking of dropping the 14 footer in the water for one last shot at a pig ski this yr. I was wondering which ramp may prove the most promiseing it is a simple boat to launch and load. Alum or Salt Fork info please

I have read all the posts and it seems as if both lakes have some ice in spots. When are you going? I would be game for ice lookout, Salt Fork would be my choice!

  3. hope to be headed out mid morning if not i will be headed to buckeye to cast for a bit i am sure. wife says i need to leave the boats covered

  4. Last I was told you had to bust Ice to get a boat in at Salt Fork. Most of the cabin bay was iced in also.

alum is mainly all open since the warm weather and the rain very very low but water also looks very clean
