Alum on June 3rd

Discussion in 'Central Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Eye Tracker, Jun 3, 2008.

  1. Got out after the 6:30am storm. Got 2 keeper eyes(17in and 20in) on a flat outside of a cove. Also, several "cigar" sized eyes. Then moved into a cove and hammered the crappies in 4 to 8 ft. of water on jigs and minnows and minnows under a bobber. Kept about 15 of the 10 to 12 inchers to eat. Threw back several 8 and 9 inchers. Made it back to the ramp before the 1:30pm storm hit. Fun day of fishing!

  2. sounds like a fun day on the water. i fished alum for the first time a few weeks ago. caught crappies back in a cove until our arms were tired. that sure is a pretty lake to fish. sounds like the crappie bite is still hot.
