Went out for a few hours this afternoon, nice day to be on the water. Quite a few boats on the lake but not where I was fishing. Drifted over main points and the beach area toward the dam. Picked up 9 Eyes on bottom bouncers, and a couple on twistertails on the bottom. Marked lots of fish. Nothing giant, a couple of the eyes went 3lbs, a couple of cigars too. Didn't fish too seriously as we had some friends with us and this was our first trip on the new boat.

    Thanks Shake for the tips.
  2. Sounds good.. Hope you were happy with the new boat.

We were also out. Fish were biting with a good drift wind.

We caught several saugeye and some crappies while drifting the points on the east side of the lake with weight forwards tipped with worms.

Emily hooked and lost a biggun about dark time. So long till next time. Thinking about hitting it tomorrow if the wind holds up...
