Alum Creek 10/25

  1. We started out about 7:15ish out of New Galena, wind wasn't too bad just yet. Hooked up with a decent keeper smallie just off the ramp. Headed off to first spot with water temp about 57 degrees, most fish we marked were suspended. Spinnerbaits, tubes, and one dink fish later, the wind was definitely a factor and probably will be for the tournament this coming Saturday. The lake is as low as I've ever seen it and with the high gusting winds we had today, made for good boat control practice, short of breaking out the drift sock. Best of luck to all that are fishing the tournament this coming weekend!
