They were on fire at daylight and slowed the later it got. Probably got 20-25 keepers and kept 8 of the bigger ones although non over 11..

6-12ft water jigs and minnow/bob kind of scattered but frequent.

Right on Pat. Headed there tomorrow morning with a few OGF characters ;)

Hope we don't get boiled off the water.

  3. I caught several over the weekend on a jig and wax worm 8 to 12ft of water. I was using a 1/16 jig - They seem to like the lighter falling jig then they did the 1/8 jig. I am hoping with this cold front coming in that within the next couple of weeks they will really be turned on.
Shake let me know how you guys do!

Yeah mine were all on a 1/16th as well...i always go as light as the wind allows....There was 0 wind Sun morning...I actually woulda liked a lighter jig if I could cast it far enough.

  5. Went up this morning with a friend of mine, we fished from about 7AM-12.45 and caught some smaller crappie, gills and perch, fished the bays from routes 36-37 on south, fished mainly minnies and floats, fishing wasnt great but it was a nice morning to be out anyway.

  6. Looks like you had a nice day, besides them ever slowing down. You have to quit fishing sometime though!
