All Star Spinning Rod

Discussion in 'Tackle Talk' started by timmyv, Mar 31, 2008.

  1. I was looking at purchasing the All Star Rod at Dicks ($60), I believe it's the Instinct Series. Does anyone own one of these rods or heard anything about them. I'm looking at the 6'6" spinning rod for fishing soft plastics.....

I have two of the Select series I got from Dick's ($59.99).

    I like them.

  3. Thanks Het.....I'm going to get one or two. They seem to be a real nice all purpose type of rod...

I am not familiar with Dick's return policy, but I know that at Gander Mountain they have a "no questions asked" return policy so long as it is within the rod's warranty period. I believe All Star makes Gander's Guide Series rods and they are a great rod. I picked up one of their musky rods the other day and I love the "no questions asked" piece of mind for 2 years that it came with. Not many retailers will let you exchange a rod after you close a truck door on it or step on it in the boat.

    Something to think about.

Great rods. I have some of the high end All Stars and I love them.
