Advice in leaders

    Any flyfisherman out there have any advice for tying a good drift leader . I really want to know that type of matereal you are using for the thick butt end. Any advice for a 2nd year rookie .

  2. 20 or 25 lb mono works well for this . I use about 24 inches.
     

  3. 20 pound works well if you are making your own leaders , it is stiff enough to help turn over your strike indicator , shot , and flies
    myself personally I use a 9' piece of flouro and adjust my indicator according water depth and flow

    Thats pretty simple , sounds good .Thats what my buddy swears by I guess im getting to technical
