Fired up the air-brush and looking for some direction as far as go-to colors and patterns. What are some productive blades for 2017 and years past? Thanks for any tips and guidance...
My best producers from last couple of years. The big willow I run as a single and run it fast, 2.5+ MPH. The big willow has a hex gold back. Also a good producer was the same size willow in solid antifreeze back and front with orange sparkle beads from net craft.
In the past, I've always had good luck with pink/purple combo's. That being said, last year I ran a LOT of plain hammered gold and did just as well as the fancier colors.
I've had great luck with anything purple. a great producer for us has been Dr death from galeforcetackle.com. another great color that's worked great for us is nuclear green from challengerlures.com the willow blades works good but we've had better luck pulling double Colorado blades.
