Not sure if they have changed but i was there a coupe weeks back and the water temps where around 50 and they was bitting on crank baits(rainbow color)let me know if this helps any and if you catch anything.i caught a 4 lb 3 oz largemouth when i went and a total of 7 for the day.good luck.
I was at Acton lake Friday before the weather turned.
Temp was 64 to 65 everywhere. Water was looking clearer,
but remember - that it would be called muddy, or even stained
We caught about 20 crappie in 12 to 16 feet on the steeper
banks. About 4 to 6 feet down. We only kept maybe 8, or so;
and all of those were young females with firm orange egg sacks.
I also caught and released a 18 inch Saugeye using a Kaylins
Triple threat in Orange / green / chartreuss.
"They should be getting close! But, how soon... dunno."
They held a electric motor bass tourney on Sunday. Most people I talked to complained of nothing but short fish. One falla caught a decent fish he said was 3-lb. The temp was 64 and not to bad on the south end, muddy on the north end. http://www.electric-bass.org/ no results as of Monday am.
Fished all day for 9 crappie....woohoo.
