Just wondering if anybody has been fishing Acton here recently. Eye's and crappie should be doing pretty good in this weather.

Crappie are hitting good at Acton lake. Fish have moved up shallow.
Try fishing 1.5 feet under a float around shallow brush.
    Hey Starvin.
Which side of the lake you on? Here lately - I've left the boat at home -
and just fished down at the dam.

I like to fish the west bank, I work the shallow laydowns from the island all
the way down to the pic nic table down by the dam. I never sit in one spot
long unless, I find one laydown that is holding a lot of fish.

The latest - There ya go sir!

  3. I haven't been out for a couple of weeks, but I was doing decent fishing from the docks over at the lodge. Mostly early morning or late evening. The crappie didn't seem to be schooled yet, just random passers by. I have seen people catching them on jigs in the cove near the lodge as well. I was using mostly minnows under a bobber. Good Luck!
  4. those docks at the lodge have been out for 3 weeks. I got blanked yesterday, only fished a couple hours, water temp was 47-48, might be done for the year there...brookville is still alive though...
