  1. Recently several threads have been deleted regarding the opinions of member's on current events. With all due respect….The defense for the deletions has been "This is a fishin' site"….my question is this "If this is a fishin' site, then why do most of the members hang in the arcade?"

I believe diversity of opinion is what will continue to make this a great site and EXPRESSION of that diversity is paramount to this site's longevity. Controlled censorship of opinion is EXACTLY what brought down our other site.

Is our country at being at WAR "political"???????? Many will suggest that it is ….a fellow Americans head being cut off on video tape IS NOT POLITICAL…..IT IS WAR and having the ability to vent our outrage is far more relative than an arcade.

You have been given a reason by the development team as to why we do not allow these posts. We have asked the community to not post threads that provoke politics or religion. Everyone has their own opinions on them, and quite frankly those particular topics do not belong on a fishing website.

We will agree withyou that censorship is not the way to go, but sometimes it has to be done to keep the sites integrity inline with the Terms of Service, which are in place to hold up the integrity of the site.

There are plenty of message boards out there to discuss religion and politics. This for one is for outdoor discussions and things related to sporting. Most people would like it to remain that way.

I am going to lock this thread, and leave it in plain view for people to see. If you have any questions, feel free to contact a member of the OGF Development Team.
