Went out yesterday to Great Miami Outfitters to get another kayak, ask Larry, you can never have too many. :D

I wanted to get one that my wife would like and settled on the Jackson Cruise 12 in Sky (changed from Limon). She'll like it being a SOT, the awesome 2 position Jackson seat and with a similar hull design to the 'Cuda, it will be easy to paddle.

It's a rec yak but can be turned into an angler with all of the hard patches on the hull. It's weighs less than the 'Cuda and being 28" shorter makes it a lot easier to handle. I like that, a lot. I'll probably take both the 'Cuda and Cruise to the Outer Banks next summer. Looking forward to that already! :D

The next yak? Well, I'm going to sell the Ascend D10 I have and look at a Ride or Tarpon. I'm not sure I'll need the Big Tuna for a few years yet.

And I need to get a trailer too!
